Junior Quantity Surveyor (1 Post – M/F)

Working Days: Monday to Friday (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
Off Days: Saturday, Sunday & Public Holidays
Location: No.16, Parami Valley, Corner of Parami Road & Mindhama Road, Hlaing Township, Yangon, Myanmar
Salary: 800,000 to 1,000,000 MMK + Transportation Allowance
Responsibilities
Quantity Take-Off & Estimation
Assist in measuring and quantifying materials required for projects.
Prepare quantity take-offs for aluminum profiles, glass, hardware, sealants, and accessories.
Support the preparation of Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and cost estimates.
Tender & Quotation Preparation
Assist in preparing tender documents and project quotations.
Review drawings and specifications to identify project requirements.
Coordinate with suppliers to obtain material quotations and pricing information.
Cost Control & Documentation
Maintain accurate project records, quotations, and costing documents.
Track material quantities and project cost variations.
Assist in preparing reports related to project costs and budgets.
Site Coordination
Conduct site visits and measurements when required.
Coordinate with project teams to verify project progress and quantities.
Assist in assessing work completed for progress claims.
Contract Administration Support
Assist in reviewing contract documents and variation orders.
Support contract administration and documentation processes.
Ensure all project documents are properly maintained and updated.
Reporting
Prepare weekly and monthly reports for the Head of Department (HOD).
Maintain project-related documentation and filing systems.
Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
1–2 years of experience in Quantity Surveying or Estimation is an advantage.
Basic knowledge of BOQ preparation, quantity take-off, and construction costing.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and AutoCAD.
Knowledge of aluminum, glass, and façade works will be an advantage.
Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Detail-oriented and able to work under deadlines.
