Your S$10,000 win helps more people than a S$1M one.
A president acknowledged my client, and he told nobody.
That was five years ago, and I only found out about it this week.
When I asked why he'd never shared it, he said it felt outdated, and that other people's wins were bigger anyway.
There's a difference between feelings and facts, and he had the two mixed up.
The fact is that a president acknowledged him.
The feeling is that it's old news and somebody else did something bigger.
He let the feeling decide, so the fact sat in a drawer for five years.
✅ Screw the feelings, and share the fact anyway.
I have to remind myself of this too.
There's a photo of me with Tony Robbins from seven years ago, and more than once I've quietly written it off as ancient history.
Someone told me back then, "that one photo can help you for the rest of your life."
That turned out to be true, and the photo is still sitting on my page pulling its weight years later.
If someone made a million dollars this year and someone else made their first ten thousand, whose story does a beginner actually need?
Usually the ten thousand one, because a million sounds like fiction and ten thousand sounds like the next step.
So pull one win you've been sitting on because it feels old or too small, and put it out this week with no apology in front of it.
You will never know which of your wins is the one somebody needed, and that's exactly why you share it anyway.
