— Türkiye, Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan have agreed to establish a permanent secretariat in Saudi Arabia under the Mecca Defense Agreement.The secretariat will initially be led by a Pakistani secretary-general for a three-year term and will coordinate cooperation between the three countries under the defense pact.
The three sides also agreed to strengthen military interoperability and defense capabilities through joint activities, closer defense-industrial cooperation, technology development, and joint production.
