PM MODI HIGHLIGHTS ₹1 LAKH CRORE R&D PUSH
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has highlighted India’s ₹1 lakh crore Research, Development & Innovation (RDI) Fund, calling research a major new opportunity for the country.
The six-year initiative is supporting private-sector R&D and deep-tech innovation, with projects spanning areas such as space, advanced energy, biotechnology, robotics and other strategic technologies.
The fund is already being implemented, with ₹2,192 crore in RDI support approved for 22 projects so far.
