BANKING FOR YOUTH
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has called for a focused, month long “Banking for Youth” campaign by Public Sector Banks from October 2, 2026.
The campaign will specifically reach out to young citizens above 16 years of age, helping them build financial capability as they enter adulthood.
A major push to connect India’s young population with banking, savings, investment, entrepreneurship and wealth creation.
