About the Role
Hec Recruit is seeking an experienced, dependable Truck Driver to support the movement of pharmaceutical products, medical supplies, and bulk goods for Victoria Island operations — ensuring safe driving, timely deliveries, and proper care of the truck and cargo.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate company truck safely within Lagos and inter-state routes
* Pick up and deliver goods to VI, Ikoyi, Lekki, Apapa, and other assigned locations
* Conduct daily vehicle checks (oil, water, brakes, tires, lights) and report faults
* Carry valid delivery notes, waybills, and vehicle documents
* Ensure proper loading, offloading, and securement of goods
* Ensure the safety of goods in transit (no unauthorized passengers or stops)
* Maintain logbook of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and expenses
* Follow NAFDAC/regulatory requirements for pharmaceutical transport, including cold chain
Requirements
* 3–5 years' proven experience driving 10ft, 20ft, or 30ft trucks
* Pharma/FMCG distribution experience is an advantage
* Valid Class C or Class E Driver's License and Lagos State Driving Permit
* Good knowledge of Lagos roads, Apapa port, warehouses, and major routes
* Clean driving record with no major accidents
* Basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting skills
* Honesty, reliability, and ability to work with minimal supervision
* Must reside within Lagos Island, VI, Ikoyi, or Lekki
