About the Role
KCH Consumer Healthcare Limited, a global consumer healthcare company involved in manufacturing, marketing, and distribution of pharmaceutical products, is seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager to oversee QC processes, ensure regulatory compliance, and lead quality improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead QC personnel in testing, investigations, and method transfer activities
* Set strategic direction for the Quality Control Department
* Provide leadership for lot release, incoming quality, manufacturing, and lab investigations
* Support change control and CAPA review/approval
* Coach and provide direction to the QC team; deliver performance reviews
* Support manufacturing/lab deviations and review product/equipment change controls
* Conduct impact assessments and coordinate the CAPA Review Board
* Develop and maintain a comprehensive quality management system (QMS)
* Oversee inspection and testing of raw materials, in-process, and finished products
* Conduct audits of production processes to identify improvement areas
* Analyze quality data and trends to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
* Ensure compliance with EHS regulations related to QA
* Coordinate with suppliers/vendors on incoming material quality
* Prepare and present quality reports to senior management
* Lead continuous improvement initiatives and maintain QA documentation (SOPs, work instructions, records)
Requirements
* B.Sc Degree with 10–15 years' relevant work experience
* Experience in QC departments of chemical or pharmaceutical companies encouraged to apply
* Strong knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001 or equivalent)
* Proven experience leading and managing a QC team
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Proficiency in quality management software and tools
