Norbert raises $14M for care robots
Norbert Health announced a $14 million Series A to expand its investigational AI system for robots in skilled-nursing facilities and seek regulatory clearances. The system is for research use only pending FDA clearance.
Norbert says its robots round on hundreds of patients daily, capture contactless vital signs, draft EHR notes, and route alerts. Its 96% acceptance and 82% compliance figures are company-reported and not independently audited.
The funding could expand routine monitoring and add care protocols. Caregivers still make clinical decisions and provide hands-on care.
Norbert gave no facility names or count, exact patient total, or detailed financing terms. The system is not broadly cleared, and Norbert reported no autonomous diagnosis or proven clinical outcomes.
