Five agents enter EV insurance
Cheche Group launched five ABAO agents for China's new-energy vehicle insurance. It says the claims platform is live with Volkswagen Anhui and Avatr and integrated with PICC, Ping An, and China Pacific Insurance.
They cover claims, damage checks, underwriting, pricing, documents, and settlement follow-up. A driver can open a claim from a car or app; staff can retrieve risk and renewal guidance from a plate or VIN. Cheche says three internal agents raised settlement-workflow efficiency by 30% and overall settlement-processing efficiency by 50%, with no added staff.
Cheche reported the figures and deployments; no independent audit or partner confirmation was cited. Commercialization is early, and people still make high-stakes decisions. Huawei Yinwang integration is planned, not live.
