سأل بعض الزيدية الحكيم محمد صالح الكيلاني (ره) عن الإسماعيلية فقال: إنهم سائرون إلى نصف الطريق، والزيدية إلى ربعها، معناه أنّهم وقفوا على جعفر الصادق وهو نصف الاثني عشرية، والزيدية على الحسين وهو ربعهم.
