At the Cafe, 6:48 PM ☕️
(Person 1 takes a sip of coffee, pauses for a second, and asks out of nowhere...)
Person 1: What does living in the moment actually mean? Does it mean I shouldn’t think about my future? Like Should I just be reckless?
Person 2: I think... it has a totally different meaning. It’s actually the exact opposite of being reckless. 💭
Person 1: How so?
Person 2: imagine this is your last conversation with humankind... Imagine this is your last cup of coffee... your last sunset... your last song. ☕️🌅🎶
Do you think you’d live the same way if you saw every single day as your last day on Earth? I don’t think so.
Do you actually think the things we worry about would matter if today were our last day? Would you keep putting off the good deeds you promised yourself you’d do, telling yourself you’ll do them "tomorrow"? Or would you live today to its absolute fullest, the way we’re supposed to live?
Who promised us tomorrow? No one. And I think that is what living in the moment really means. ✨🤍
(Person 1 nods slowly, letting the words sink in. Neither says another word they just sit there, quietly sipping their coffee while staring out at the sunset.) 🌅☕️
