On 27 August, Mr Aleksandr Fursov, Deputy Consul General of the Russian Federation in Mumbai, received Mr Sanjay Puri, Founder and Principal Architect of Sanjay Puri Architects, one of India’s most renowned architecture and design firms, based in Mumbai. During the meeting, Mr Fursov presented Mr Puri with the award statuette and certificate of the winner, received from Moscow, recognizing his victory at the 2025 Golden Trezzini Awards for the interior design of the Aatma Manthan Museum in Nathdwara, Rajasthan.
The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss the current state of Russian-Indian cooperation in the fields of architecture and design, as well as prospects for its further development and the implementation of new joint projects. Particular attention was paid to opportunities for launching joint initiatives in Mumbai as part of the celebrations in 2027 marking the 60th anniversary of the establishment of sister-city relations between St. Petersburg and Mumbai.
