Hacked?
If your Telegram account has been hacked, you must log in with your phone number, terminate all unknown active sessions, and turn on two-step verification immediately.
Steps to Recover a Hacked Account
1 Log in via SMS: Open the Telegram app, enter your phone number, and type the login code sent via text message.
2 Terminate active sessions: Go to Settings, select Devices (or Active Sessions), and click Terminate all other sessions to kick the hacker out.
3 Enable two-step verification: Go to Settings, open Privacy and Security, and set up a strong password along with a recovery email.
4 Use recovery options if locked out: If the hacker changed your password, click "Forgot password?" to reset it using your recovery email, or wait seven days to reset the account via Telegram support options.
