The Third Eye Chakra
Through the third-eye chakra, we access the power of inner vision to perceive the true reality of a situation.
An insight is literally an in-sight, a looking within.
Through the third eye, we hold in mind the highest blueprint for a situation, what should be, rather than only what appears to be now.
Peak performers deliberately visualise their goals before they achieve them.
The same law works in reverse: what we fear and dwell on, we can just as easily draw toward us.
This chakra also asks us to examine our mind-sets, the fixed judgments we form about people from a single impression and then hold.
The alternative is holding the highest, truest image of someone in mind, even when they are not yet demonstrating it, and giving them room to rise to meet it.
This practice is called holding the immaculate concept.
Cultivating awareness helps us see situations objectively rather than through the lens of our past programming.
