የገጠር ልማት መለካት ያለበት በሚገነቡት መሠረተ ልማቶች ብቻ ሳይሆን፣ ተከትሎ በሚመጣው የሰዎች ሕይወት ለውጥ መሆን አለበት።
በመሆኑም የገጠር ኮሪደር ልማት ውጥን ተግባራዊና ሰውን ማዕከል ያደረገ አካሄድን በመከተል ላይ ይገኛል። ይህም ትስስርን ማሻሻል፣ ምቹ የኑሮ ሁኔታዎችን መፍጠር እና በገጠር ማሕበረሰብ ውስጥ የኢኮኖሚ ዕድሎችን ማስፋፋት ነው።
የዚህ ዐበይት ግብ የተበታተነና የተቆራረጠ ሐብትን በማስተካከል አምራች፣ እርስ በርስ የተሳሰሩ፣ ዘላቂ ልማት ያላቸው እንዲሁም ለመኖርና ለመሥራት ማራኪ የሆኑ የገጠር አካባቢዎችን መገንባት ነው።
Rural development must be measured not only by what is built, but by how people’s lives change as a result.
The rural corridors initiative is therefore taking a practical, people-centered approach: improving connectivity, creating better living conditions, and unlocking economic opportunities within rural communities.
The goal is to move beyond fragmented interventions and build rural areas that are productive, connected, resilient, and attractive places to live and work.
