Workshop abstract : Title .
Using Activities and the Boomerang Method for Effective Speaking Assessment

Testing and assessing students' speaking skills can be difficult and take a lot of classroom time. This presentation introduces an easy and active way to assess speaking skills using the "Boomerang Method." This method has three simple steps: Teacher Input (giving instructions), Student Activities (practicing speaking), and Teacher Feedback (giving review). By using this method, teachers can let students speak more while the teacher observes and assesses them effectively. In this session, participants will see different fun and interactive speaking activities that they can use in their classrooms. Teachers will also learn how to check their students' progress and give helpful feedback during these activities. This presentation will provide practical ideas to make speaking tests more engaging, useful, and learner-centered.
