Дан Маслов: post #260 — TG.ME

I switched my Claude from Russian to English today. That’s the most painful brain hit I’ve experienced, even worse than the decision not to speak English in Latin America from my very first day here.

And today I had a conversation with a Greek professor, Nicoletta, biz-deving her in English. And it was nice, the energy was flowing through, as coisas tavam fluindo.

I wrote a draft of this text. I gave it to Claude with a prompt to find my mistakes. And the result was way better than I thought. I mean, I have terrible spelling in all four languages I speak. But my grammar was mostly OK. A couple of missing articles, a couple of wrong tenses. So maybe I should feel even more comfortable speaking English, knowing that I speak it well enough.

Gonna publish the post and ask Claude for some exercises based on my mistake patterns.

Hmmmm. That’s my “job to be done.” What job do I hire Claude for now in terms of learning languages? When I try to improve my English… and want to achieve this result… I do… expecting…

No. Enough. That’s too much thinking for today. I gonna grab myself to listen to some techno. Cheers!
