Are museums still important to teach history ?
The advancement of technology has raised the question of whether museums hold importance in interpreting history . I tend to believe museums will retain their main function thanks to their authenticity .
The primary reason to support my argument is that museums enable history lovers to learn the past with artifacts belonging to a particular historical period . That is to say , in-person visits to museums full of exhibits make it easier to study history compared with reading books .
Furthermore , museums lessen the burden learners have to bear while interpreting history . This is mainly done by professional museum staff who are in charge of providing visitors with simplified explanations of artifacts ; Whenever a visitor has a question or two about something unclear , he or she can turn to the staff or robotic guides , as in the case of some Japanese museums.
All in all , museums are significant as they help people dive into the past with the help of visual exhibits and the guidance of the specialists
