About the Role
Raya Trade is seeking a skilled Mobile Phone Engineer to join our technical team in Ibadan. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately diagnosing, repairing, and testing mobile devices, ensuring high-quality technical service, swift turnaround times, and outstanding customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
* Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues across various mobile devices.
* Repair and replace components including screens, batteries, charging ports, cameras, and motherboards.
* Perform software updates, device flashing, and comprehensive quality control post-repair.
* Maintain accurate repair records, service reports, and track Service Level Agreement (SLA) targets.
* Adhere strictly to ESD (Electrostatic Discharge), safety protocols, and manufacturer repair guidelines.
* Provide technical guidance to customers and coordinate with spare parts and customer support teams.
Requirements
* OND, HND, or B.Sc / B.Tech degree. Technical certifications are an added advantage.
* 2–5 years of hands-on experience in smartphone repair and technical troubleshooting.
* Strong working knowledge of Android and iOS hardware and operating systems.
* Proficiency with modern repair tools, diagnostic equipment, and micro-soldering.
* Excellent problem-solving, communication, and time-management skills under pressure.
