Salary: ₦150,000 – ₦200,000 Monthly
About the Role
A community-focused Non-Profit organization based in Igbo-Ukwu, Aguata LGA, Anambra State, is seeking a motivated Librarian to manage its physical and digital resource collections. The ideal candidate will oversee library acquisitions, cataloging, and digital materials while supporting community literacy and youth empowerment programs.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and organize physical and digital library collections, including books and journals.
* Handle acquisitions, cataloging, classification, and maintenance of digital materials.
* Maintain library catalogs and assist users with research and information retrieval.
* Support local literacy initiatives, reading programs, and youth development activities.
* Prepare monthly activity, usage, and resource management reports.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s Degree (BLIS/MLS) in Library and Information Science or a related field.
* Minimum of 2–3 years' experience in library or resource center management.
* Excellent cataloging, organizational, and information-retrieval skills.
* Proficiency with library management software and Microsoft Office tools.
* Strong communication, interpersonal, and community-engagement abilities.
