الشبهة الخامسة عشرة: نحن نحيي السيرة في المَوْلِدالجواب: تعلم السيرة وتعليمها من أفضل الأعمال، لكنه لا يُحصر في يوم واحد أو موسم مُحدَث.
السُّنَّة أن تُدرس سيرة النبي ﷺ طوال العام، وأن يظهر أثرها في العقيدة والعبادة والأخلاق والمعاملات.
فالاعتراض ليس على تدريس السيرة، وإنما على ربطها بموسم تعبدي سنوي لم يفعله النبي ﷺ ولا أصحابه.
22/28 — Misconception 15: We Revive the Prophet’s Biography During the MawlidStudying and teaching the Prophet’s biography is among the finest deeds, but it should not be restricted to one day or to an introduced religious occasion.
The Sunnah is for the Prophet’s biography to be taught throughout the year and for its effects to appear in our beliefs, worship, character, and dealings.
The objection is not to teaching the Prophet’s biography. It is to connecting it to an annual devotional occasion that neither the Prophet ﷺ nor his Companions observed.
