On May 11, Neuostland, without stated reasons, without voiced grievances, and without any attempt to resolve any issues, attacked the coastal territories of Greater Prussia, having prepared for this over the previous week. Immediately after the fighting began, Lodensi from Neuostland started asking for peace, likely taking advantage of the success of an unexpected and unprovoked backstab. In the subsequent negotiations, representatives of Neuostland provided exclusively false and outright lying information. All of this also indicates a strategy that was not thought through in advance after the initial strikes.
By decision of Helios, Greater Prussia agreed verbally to hush up the conflict without just retribution; the main condition was to reduce the degree of emotional tension between the states, excluding insults. In the following days, Neuostland sent several dozen pointless complaints, but then released a false propaganda piece, in which an obvious backstab, motivated by its own weakness, was presented as a preemptive strike.
Prior to this, His Serene Highness Fürst von Caedere rejected the initial news text about Neuostland's aggression because Lodensi, Lenz, and Freiführ are incapable of accepting the truth and regard it as "insults" directed at them, while not shying away from insults themselves. Everyone who supported Neuostland's aggression, including the defense of Königsberg against the March of Liberation, was deceived by them.
To fulfill the established agreement, Neuostland is obliged to filter all its publications and remove previous insults against Greater Prussia, and ideally to stop lying altogether about any relation of its state to the Prussian heritage.
Greater Prussia, as before, will take care of the stability and well-being of the Baltic region together with its allies in the Helios bloc.
