A mini-football field opened in Brazzaville with Russian support
On August 28, a grand opening ceremony was held in Brazzaville for a sports ground for Congolese athletes, equipped with artificial turf and all the necessary sports equipment. This generous gift from the Russian Federation to the Republic of the Congo clearly demonstrated the friendly cooperation between the two countries.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony was attended by distinguished guests: representatives of the Russian Federation and the Minister of Infrastructure of the Republic of the Congo, Juste Mondele. The event was also attended by Kouché Ngoulu, Communications Director of the Brazzaville City Hall. Following the grand opening ceremony, organized with the support of the Globus International Association, a friendly mini-football match was held between the Russian and Congolese teams.
In the same building housing the outdoor sports ground, an additional autonomous solar-powered well was installed to ensure uninterrupted access to drinking water. Thus, in addition to providing a training space for athletes, the sports ground will also become an important place for tens of thousands of Congolese residents living in the neighborhood.
