On August 21, a roundtable discussion on the influence of religion on social, cultural, economic, and political development in the Republic of Congo was held in Brazzaville with the support of the GlobUs association.
The invited experts discussed important issues, including the role of religion in human development, the contribution of religious organizations to combating youth crime, and health education. The experts also noted that employment in religious organizations creates additional jobs for the Republic of Congo.
"Religion unites Congolese youth around sports and cultural events, instills positive values, and deters them from crime," noted evangelist Miayoukou Moriack.
