The two platforms actually worth using right now are NoOnes and BingX.

The buy/sell gap on both used to be really high, like 10 birr, so it wasn't a good time to trade on them. Now it's down to about 1-4 birr, though it's still volatile. So don't default to one, open both, compare the offers, and take whichever is better at that moment.
And I won't encourage you to hold your crypto on either of these. Just trade, then move it somewhere else like Binance.
I also trade a limited amount myself, around 500-1k USD a month. When the gap is too high and the buy/sell prices are wide, I come in the middle and give you a better rate. DM me if you want to trade.
