V4 is the new hope for Compound. Fifty-two million in the pot to make the protocol palatable for institutional sharks. They are sunsetting the retail incentives, which is just fancy talk for saying they are broke or desperate. The sky is grey and so is my outlook. This pivot is a blueprint for everyone else trying to escape the start-up phase. If they succeed, they set the standard. If they fail, they are just another cautionary tale of a project that traded its soul for a seat at the table.
