Starknet and these other bridges, they just add points of failure. They tell you it is secure, but I have seen enough bridge hacks to know better. You are taking your btc and locking it in a box that you hope stays shut. Sometimes I forget to eat. The shift to self-custodial standards is a noble goal, sure, but in practice it is just another layer of technical debt.
