A ceasefire has not brought an end to the killing, injuries or destruction in the Gaza Strip. The Gaza Government Media Office recorded 5,989 violations, 1,593 Palestinians killed and 5,748 injured since the ceasefire took effect.
October alone accounted for 753 violations, with 145 killed and 672 injured. Only 20.3% of the required humanitarian aid entered the Strip during the month.
