US Congressman Greg Casar has called for legislation to sanction violent Israeli settlers and government officials who enable them, citing more than 1,600 settler attacks this year, nearly all targeting Palestinians. His call follows an attack on journalist Heidi Levine while she was covering the olive harvest in the occupied West Bank.
