UN Special Rapporteur Sofia Monsalve Suárez warned that blocked humanitarian aid is worsening Gaza's severe food crisis.
Citing IPC projections, she noted that over 1.4 million people, 67% of the population, are facing crisis levels or worse of acute food insecurity from July to December 2026, driven by ongoing aid restrictions and the destruction of local food systems.
