Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie has called for urgent humanitarian assistance and shelter for Palestinians in Gaza, warning of the catastrophic scale of destruction as winter approaches.
Citing UN satellite assessments, Jolie said 82% of structures across Gaza had been damaged as of June 2026, including homes, schools, hospitals, roads, and water and sanitation infrastructure.
She called for immediate aid and medical supplies to reach Palestinians and urged the creation of conditions that would allow reconstruction to begin.
