UN Special Rapporteur Francesca Albanese welcomed the UK government’s position on Israel’s occupation and its illegality, describing it as a much-needed beginning.
She said further action is needed to reverse policies undermining Palestinian self-determination and urged the UK to stand firm amid mounting pressure.
