The Red Ribbons Campaign has urged the International Committee of the Red Cross to secure immediate, unrestricted access to Palestinian women and girls in Israeli prisons after Itamar Ben-Gvir filmed himself confronting detainees at Damon Prison and boasting about their harsh conditions.
The open letter describes the visit as a “calculated spectacle of humiliation” and calls for confidential interviews, access to food, water, healthcare and hygiene supplies, and confirmation that the women are safe.
