▪️ Trezor suffered a personal data leak affecting 14 thousand clients
The manufacturer of Trezor hardware crypto wallets reported a leak of customer personal data following a hack of the ShipMonk delivery service systems used by the company.
The incident affected 13,689 buyers who placed orders between May 10 and August 8, 2026.
As a result of the leak, attackers gained access to customers' names, device delivery addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses. Trezor emphasized that the company's own systems were not compromised and the devices themselves remain secure.
The company warned that the stolen data could be used for phishing attacks. Scammers may impersonate Trezor employees, banks, or cryptocurrency exchanges.
According to Trezor, this is the first case since the company's founding in 2013 where phone numbers and customer delivery addresses were disclosed due to a leak. All affected users have already received notifications.
