Crypto Arena: post #215 — TG.ME

Ethereum-ETFs attracted more capital than Bitcoin funds for the third week in a row 📈

From July 20 to 24, US spot Ethereum-based ETFs attracted $104 million in net inflows, extending the streak to three consecutive weeks. Over the same period, net inflows into spot Bitcoin ETFs amounted to $33.79 million, remaining positive for the third week in a row as well.

During the last week, the ETH price rose by approximately 5%, while Bitcoin gained about 1.5%.

Meanwhile, spot ETFs based on Solana and XRP received $7.2 million and $8.15 million respectively over the week. Conversely, HYPE-based funds recorded a net outflow of $8.61 million.

The launch of cryptocurrency ETFs in the US in 2024 and the subsequent inflow of institutional capital became one of the factors driving market growth. By purchasing ETF shares, investors effectively create demand for the cryptocurrency, as ETF issuers buy it to back the issued shares. 🏦
