Who Is This Jesus? (Matthew 16:13-20)
1. [Reflect and Share] Our personal expectations and desires can distort our view of God at times. Have there been instances where this has been true in your life? How can we avoid this pitfall?
2. [Discuss] ‘Who do you say I am?’ - Jesus’ question was meant to challenge and mature the disciples’ conviction and faith. Do you agree?
3. [Reflect and Share] Who is Jesus to you today? What are some areas of your lives that are out of sync with your convictions about Jesus? How can you realign those areas?
4. [Discuss] Jesus is the Messiah who has come to redeem us from our sins. How can we proclaim this message effectively and boldly in the context of our family, work places, army camps or social networks?
