🔹 2. STATICALLY INDETERMINATE STRUCTURE

A structure is statically indeterminate when the number of unknown reactions or internal forces exceeds the number of independent equilibrium equations available.

• Equilibrium equations alone are insufficient
• Requires compatibility of deformation
• Requires consideration of material and section properties (stiffness)
