Porsche has released the most affordable racing 911 — the new 911 Challenge.

The model is built on the base of the 911 GT3: a naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six engine delivers 515 horsepower, paired with a 7-speed PDK and rear-wheel drive. The interior has had sound insulation and unnecessary trim removed, with the addition of a safety cage, racing seat, and fire suppression system.

The 911 Challenge is intended solely for the track and will be able to participate in Porsche's branded racing series worldwide starting in 2027.
