The new Land Cruiser 300 in Japan will launch on September 16 without the naturally aspirated V6 — only hybrid or diesel options will be available.

The top-tier ZX and GR Sport versions will receive the hybrid system from the Lexus LX700h: a twin-turbo 3.5 V6 plus an electric motor, totaling 457 horsepower and 790 Nm — a power record for the entire lineup.

The diesel engine also remains — a 3.3-liter twin-turbo V6 producing 309 horsepower, and based on it, the most affordable GX version will be created.
