Iran oil revenues surpass $7bn despite US war, siege
Tehran has transferred $7.5 billion in oil revenues to its central bank since March, despite Washington's blockade, sanctions, and the deadly US Israeli war that killed thousands, Iranian media reported on 29 August. Iran's Fars News Agency said the funds are sufficient to cover the government's foreign currency expenditures from July through December.
The report cites information from the Iranian Oil Ministry. Iranian oil sales between 21 March and 22 July - the first four months of the Iranian year according to the Persian calendar - hit 99 percent of the amount projected in the budget for that particular time period, the Fars report said...
