Trump pledges to replenish US Strategic Petroleum Reserve following landmark Venezuela deal
...In his Sunday announcement, President Trump said the Strategic National Reserves would be filled quickly following the landmark deal.
"One of the things I am going to do with the Venezuelan Oil is fill up the Strategic National Reserves which, because of Sleepy Joe Biden, has been virtually emptied," Trump wrote. "The "topping out" process will begin very shortly, and is a Gift from Venezuela to the People of the United States. Thank you!"
This comes after the president announced on Friday that the US had secured access to more than 65 billion barrels of Venezuela's proven oil reserves, calling it the "the biggest oil deal in world history..."
