💻 Phil Schiller steps down from App Store and Apple events roles
Longtime Apple executive Phil Schiller is leaving his roles heading the App Store and Apple events, Bloomberg reports. He will retain his Apple Fellow title and continue working on unspecified initiatives.
Schiller joined Apple in 1987 and helped launch the App Store with Steve Jobs in 2008. The news comes a day before hardware chief John Ternus is set to succeed Tim Cook as CEO on September 1st.
