🇸🇦🇫🇷 Saudi Arabia is investing $7 billion in a new theme park project near Paris.
The deal was announced during Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s visit to France, as Riyadh and Paris move to deepen economic and strategic ties.
The project will reportedly include three theme parks near Cergy-Pontoise, with one expected to have a manga theme. Saudi Arabia’s Qiddiya will lead the project, which could create around 22,000 jobs.
But the theme park is only one piece of a much bigger deal.
France and Saudi Arabia also signed agreements covering AI, energy, defence, aviation, transport and health.
The two sides are now expanding their partnership far beyond traditional oil and defence ties.
