🎓🌐 Around 120,000 BRICS students are studying at Russian universities
Konstantin Mogilevsky, Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, said that around 120,000 students from #BRICS countries are currently studying at Russian universities.
📈 The number of students from BRICS countries continues to grow steadily. China and India are the most active, together accounting for almost 90% of the total. The number of students from other BRICS countries, including South Africa, is also increasing.
🇿🇦 This year alone, 100 South African scholarship recipients will travel to Russia to pursue Bachelor's and Master's degrees at leading Russian universities.
According to Mogilevsky, Russian universities remain competitive thanks to the quality of education, the career opportunities offered by a Russian degree, and comfortable living conditions.
Within BRICS, work is also underway to facilitate the mutual recognition of academic degrees.
