Description:
We are looking for a Mobile IAP Integration Specialist to handle the setup and client-side integration of Google Play Billing and Apple In-App Purchases (StoreKit) for our mobile game. We already have a backend developer on our team; your primary role will be configuring the developer consoles, integrating the purchase flow directly into the game, and collaborating with our backend developer to ensure purchase receipts, tokens, and webhooks communicate seamlessly with our server.
Requirements:
• Hands-on experience setting up products and billing in both Google Play Console and Apple App Store Connect.
• Strong experience integrating mobile billing libraries (Google Play Billing Library, Apple StoreKit) into mobile games/apps.
• Understanding of how client-side purchases hand off to a backend server for server-side receipt validation.
• Proven ability to configure webhooks, server notifications, and testing environments.
Bonus Points:
• Experience with third-party wrappers like RevenueCat.
• Familiarity with our game engine (e.g., Unity, Unreal Engine, Godot, Flutter).
Role & Responsibilities:
• Console Configuration: Set up products, SKUs, pricing, and subscription tiers in Google Play Console and Apple App Store Connect.
• Account & API Keys Setup: Configure Google Cloud Service Accounts, Pub/Sub topics for Real-Time Developer Notifications (RTDN), and Apple StoreKit Keys / App Store Server Notifications.
• Client Game Integration: Implement the client-side purchasing flow (e.g., Unity IAP, Flutter, React Native, or Native iOS/Android SDKs) within the game.
• Backend Hand-off: Coordinate directly with our backend developer to send purchase tokens and receipt payloads to our server for validation.
• Sandbox Testing: Test the end-to-end flow using Apple TestFlight/Sandbox and Google License Testing to verify purchase completion, restore purchases, network interruptions, and error handling.
