A look ahead: Introducing DevvX
Hello everyone. I want to share where we are headed, and some news I am excited about.
When we created DevvE, the second "E" in the name stood for ESG, and the token was built around an ESG philosophy and the goals that came with it. Since then, the landscape has changed. ESG has become highly politicized, and as a category it has not only stalled but in many situations has turned negative. We had also planned to extend DevvE toward exchange implementations through DevvExchange, but we were not able to secure the funding needed to drive that vision forward in the way we had hoped and in the timeframe we had hoped.
At the same time, something remarkable has been happening on the technology side. We have made dramatic progress on the DevvX platform, driven by our AI work. We rewrote the DevvX blockchain completely from scratch using AI, and in my honest assessment we are further along today than we were after years of development before. AI is a genuine gamechanger, and companies that intend to thrive in this new software era need to embrace that reality. I will have much more to share soon in a broader technology update, and I think you will be as excited about it as I am. We have implemented cross shard transactions, fraud/theft/loss protections, Contingent Transaction Sets, NFT implementations, instant shard creation, a traditional block explorer, new validator definition capabilities, and more, within a newly designed and streamlined user interface.
This progress calls for something new. The philosophy around the originally designed DevvE tokenomics no longer fits with the reality of how things have changed in the ESG space. The capabilities we are building into the DevvX blockchain point to forms of utility that were not part of what DevvE was designed to do. For that reason, we are going to introduce a new token, which itself will be called DevvX, built around the newly designed DevvX platform and the new utility we are creating. The end of 2025 had its challenges, but I see real opportunity ahead: a brighter future for DevvX, and for everyone who has been part of this journey. As I have always done, I will implement a fair path forward for everyone. I am fully committed to growing with our community and creating value for everyone. We are not yet at a point where I can give exact details as we are still establishing the exact plan, but overall this transition represents a strong path forward for everyone given all of our new direction and progress.
Further, I will be moving all of our communications over to the old Devvio channel, rebranded as DevvX

As always, please rely only on official Devvio sources for anything related to DevvX, and be cautious of anyone claiming otherwise. We still will never DM anyone directly first.
Thank you for your continued support. I am excited to unveil everything we have been working on.
