Palestine Center for Prisoner Studies:
- 500 arrests in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem during August, including 31 children and 11 women and girls, and the death of one prisoner in Israeli prisons.
- Raids, mass arrests, field interrogations, assaults, and threats continued as part of a policy of collective punishment and the weakening of Palestinian society.
- The Israeli occupation escalated its use of administrative detention by issuing more than 700 new and renewed detention orders, while transferring prisoners who had completed their sentences to administrative detention instead of releasing them.
