ASTU Signs Memorandum of Understanding with Gambella University

Adama Science and Technology University (ASTU) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Gambella University on July 4, 2026, at the ASTU President's Office.
The MoU aims to strengthen collaboration between the two universities in key areas, including human resource development, institutional capacity building, joint applied research projects, technology transfer, staff and student exchange programs, the organization of scientific events, and the promotion of research findings for application in relevant public and private sectors.
The agreement was signed by Dr. Lemma Beressa, Vice President for Research and Technology Transfer at ASTU, and Dr. Driba Ethicha, President of Gambella University.
The partnership is expected to foster academic excellence, research collaboration, innovation, and knowledge sharing, contributing to the sustainable development of both institutions and the nation at large.
