የትርጉም ሀይል
በዚያ በስቃይ መካከል፣ ፍራንክለ የታዘበው አንድ ነገር አለ፤ "ለምን" እንደሚኖሩ የሚያውቁ (ምክንያት ያላቸው) ሰዎች በሕይወት የመትረፍ ዕድላቸው ከፍተኛ ነበር። እሱም ከጦርነቱ በኋላ ለተማሪዎቹ ስለተማረው ትምህርት ንግግር ሲያደርግ በምናቡ እየሳለ ራሱን አበረታታ። "የመኖሪያ ምክንያት (ለምን) ያለው ሰው፣ ማንኛውንም መከራ (እንዴት) ሊቋቋም ይችላል" ይላል።
ጥያቄ፦ ያንተ "ለምን" ምንድን ነው? በከባዱ ቀን እንኳ ከአልጋህ እንድትነሳ የሚያደርግህ ምክንያት ምንድን ነው? ከሌለህ፣ ዛሬ መፈለግ ትጀምራለህ?

In the middle of the suffering, Frankl noticed that those who had a "why"—a reason to live—were the ones who survived. He survived by imagining himself giving a lecture after the war about the lessons he learned. He said, "He who has a why to live for can bear almost any how."
Question: What is your "Why"? What is the reason that gets you out of bed even on your hardest days? If you don't have one, can you start searching for it today?
