Presidential Scholarship Opportunity Undergraduate Programs Academic Year 2026/27 (2019 E.C)
Addis Ababa University is proud to announce the Presidential Scholarship Program for the 2026/27 (2019 E.C) academic year.
This prestigious opportunity is open to 200 outstanding students who have successfully completed the 2018 E.C Ethiopian Secondary School Leaving Certificate Examination (ESSLCE) and are entering undergraduate studies.The scholarship is designed to nurture the next generation of leaders, scientists, and researchers through an honors program across various disciplines.
Recipients will be placed in the following colleges according to the specified distribution:
1. College of Natural and Computational Sciences, 15%
2. College of Technology and Built Environment, 17%
3. College of Veterinary Medicine and Agriculture, 4%
4. College of Health Sciences, 15%
5. College of Business and Economics, 13%
6. College of Social Sciences, Humanities and Arts, and School of Law; 20%
7. College of Education and Language Studies, 16% Scholarship Benefits & Conditions
👉🏽 Full tuition coverage and modest incentive package.Continued eligibility requires maintaining a cGPA of 3.5 or above and remaining in the assigned academic program.
👉🏽 Graduates of the Presidential Scholarship Program will be automatically eligible for fully funded graduate studies (Master’s and PhD) in their respective fields, enabling deeper specialization and advanced skill development.

ልዩ ፕሬዝዴንሻል የስኮላርሺፕ የትምህርት እድል
አንጋፋው እና ስመጥሩ አዲስ አበባ ዩኒቨርሲቲ ዛሬም እንደወትሮው የከፍተኛ ትምህርትን በማስፋት እና የሰለጠነ የሰው ኃይልን ለሃገር ግንባታ ለማበርከት የተጣለበትን ሀላፊነቱን ከምን ጊዜውም በላይ በመወጣት ላይ ይገኛል።
ከዚሁ ጋር በተያየዘ አዲስ አበባ ዩኒቨርሲቲ በ2019 ዓ.ም የትምህት ዘመን 200 (ሁለት መቶ) ልዩ የፕሬዝዴንሻል ስኮላርሽፕ እድል ለሁለተኛ ጊዜ አዘጋጅቷል። የዚህ የትምህርት እድል ዋና ዓላማ የወደፊት መሪዎችን፣ ሳይንቲስቶችን እና ተመራማሪዎችን በተለያዩ የትምህርት ዘርፎች ለማፍራት ነው።
የስኮላርሺፑ ተጠቃሚዎች የሁለተኛ ጀረጃ ትምህርት ማጠቃለያ ሃገራዊ ፈተና 500 እና ከዚያ በላይ ያስመዘገብ እንዲሁም ሁሉንም መመዘኛ ያሟሉ እና ዩኒቨርሲቲው ያዘጋጀውን የመግቢያ ፈተና በብቃት ያለፉ መሆን ይጠበቅባቸዋል።
የዚህ የትምህርት እድሉ ተጠቃሚዎች ዩኒቨርሲቲው ባሉት ሰባት ኮሌጆች እና የህግ ትምህርት ቤት ስር ባሉ የቅድመ ምረቃ ፕሮግራሞች በፍታዊነት ይመደባሉ። የዚህ ስኮላርሽፕ ተጠቃሚዎችሙሉ ነፃ የትምህርት እድል ያገኛሉ፣መጠነኛ የኪስ ገንዘብ ይሰጣቸዋል፣ከአጋር ተቋማት ጋር በሚኖር ትብብር ተጨማሪ ድጋፍ እና የስልጠና እድሎችን የሚያገኙ ይሆናል።
በዚህ የትምህርት እድል በወጥነት ተጠቃሚ ለመሆን የትምህርት አፈፃፀም ውጤት 3.5 cGPA እና ከዚያ በላይ ማስመዝገብ ይጠበቅባቸዋል። በተጨማሪም የእድሉ ተጠቃሚዎች በተመደቡበት የትምህርት ዘርፍ መቀጠል ይኖርባቸዋል።የዚህ ስኮላርሺፕ ተጠቃሚዎች በቀጣይነት ዩኒቨርስቲው የድህረ ምረቃ (የMaster's እና PhD) የትምህርት እድል ያገኛሉ።
ይኸውም በጀመሩት የትምህርት ዘርፍ ጥልቅ እውቀት እና የዳበረ ልምድ እንዲያገኙ እና በሞያቸው አንቱ የተባሉ ባለሞያዎች እንዲሆኑ ይረዳቸዋል። ይህንን የትምህርት እድል ማዘጋጀት አዲስ አበባ ዩኒቨርሲቲ ለትምህርት ልዕቀት እና ለሃገር ግንባታ ያለውን ያላሰለሰ ቁርጠኝነት መገለጫ ነዉ።
